On Friday, November 1, 2019,
Buckeye Local and Harrison Central will be vying for the Veterans, Athletics,
Legionnaires, Education and Sportsmanship, better known as the V.A.L.E.S.
trophy, at the WWII Memorial Stadium in Yorkville. During the pregame festivities, all men and
women both active duty personnel and veterans will be recognized with a
memorial dedicated to the Armed Forces who have defended or are currently
defending the United States of America.
All active duty personnel and
veterans of the Buckeye Local and Harrison Central communities are cordially
invited to participate in this dedication ceremony on Friday, November 1,
2019. Those attending will receive free
admission and asked to meet at the west end of the stadium under the
scoreboard at approximately 6:15. This special ceremony will take place
following the Panther Band pregame performance.
